Cimeira africana reinventa «hits» dos U2 de BONO VOX

ANGELIQUE KIDJO (“Mysterious Ways”), VIEUX FARKA TOURÉ (“Bullet The Blue Sky” – na foto), TONY ALLEN (“Where The Streets Have No Name”), CHEIKH LÔ (“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”) e WALDEMAR BASTOS (“Love Is Blindness”) são alguns dos artistas do continente africano que prestam tributo à banda irlandesa U2, através do álbum “In The Name Of Love: Africa Celebrates U2”. O disco que é, sem dúvida, a forma mais generosa de gratidão por tudo o que BONO VOX tem feito para tentar reduzir o índice de pobreza e de vírus mortais (como o HIV, a tuberculose e a malária) em África, será editado Shout! Factory em 1 de Abril de 2008. Parte das suas receitas serão encaminhadas para a ONG The Global Fund.
